Wayne Collins Harris

Wayne Collins “Pops” Harris age 72, passed away Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at the Medical University of South Carolina Hospital in Charleston. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., on Thursday, October 1, 2020, at Wolfe Funeral Home in Fort Mill. He will be buried privately at Six Mile Creek Presbyterian Church where he was raised. Born in Charlotte, Wayne was the son of the late John Collins Harris and Dora Betty Weatherly Harris. He loved his grandchildren and enjoyed fishing. Surviving are two sons, Shane Collins Harris and Wayne Collins Harris, both of Myrtle Beach; four daughters, Lynn Marty Johnson (Mike) of Rock Hill, Lois Muir (Toby Daniels) of Rock Hill, Tiffany Campbell of Myrtle Beach and Saleana Cheyenne Harris (Noah Pence) of Rock Hill; his sister, Betty Jean McClain of Charlotte; and nine grandchildren, Justin, Austin, Haley, Kaleb, Rose, Dawson, Braelyn, Rebekah and Noah. He was preceded in death by his first born son, John Collins Harris (1998).
