Mr. Wade Spencer Griffin, 83, of Fort Mill, died Friday, February 24, 2017, at CMC-Pineville.The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday, February 27, 2017, at Riverview Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Allen Wolfe and the Rev. Barry Yates officiating. Burial will be at Unity Cemetery.Born in Fort Mill, Wade was a son of the late Alfred Dinkins Griffin and Inez Ghant Griffin. He was the owner and operator of Griffin Alignment and was a member of Riverview Presbyterian Church. Wade was an avid Clemson fan and enjoyed golfing, riding motorcycles, bowling, fishing and water skiing.Surviving are his wife of 66 years, Nancy Blackwelder Griffin; two daughters, Freda Baker (Ronnie) and Marie Busbin (Steve), all of Fort Mill; his sister, Mary G. Barfield of Fort Mill; three grandchildren, Lara Baker (John), Beth Burkett and Jeff Busbin; and his great-grandson, Matthew Williams. He was preceded in death by his sister, Marcene Cornwell KlutzThe family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m., Sunday, February 26, 2017, at Riverview Presbyterian Church and other times at the home.Memorial contributions may be made to Riverview Presbyterian Church, 124 North Sutton Road, Fort Mill, SC 29708.

This world has truly lost one of its greater things when Wade passed. I continue to pray for all the family. Wade taught me so many things over the years while working with him @ Griffin Alignment. I'll always take a part of him wherever I go. I'll never forget you Wade, you'll always be missed.
