Wade Spencer Griffin

Mr. Wade Spencer Griffin, 83, of Fort Mill, died Friday, February 24, 2017, at CMC-Pineville.The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday, February 27, 2017, at Riverview Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Allen Wolfe and the Rev. Barry Yates officiating. Burial will be at Unity Cemetery.Born in Fort Mill, Wade was a son of the late Alfred Dinkins Griffin and Inez Ghant Griffin. He was the owner and operator of Griffin Alignment and was a member of Riverview Presbyterian Church. Wade was an avid Clemson fan and enjoyed golfing, riding motorcycles, bowling, fishing and water skiing.Surviving are his wife of 66 years, Nancy Blackwelder Griffin; two daughters, Freda Baker (Ronnie) and Marie Busbin (Steve), all of Fort Mill; his sister, Mary G. Barfield of Fort Mill; three grandchildren, Lara Baker (John), Beth Burkett and Jeff Busbin; and his great-grandson, Matthew Williams.
