Victor Laurence Webber

Tega Cay, SCAfter a courageous fight against cancer, Victor “Vic” Laurence Webber, 76, of Tega Cay, SC passed away while at his home on March 17, 2018. He was surrounded by his family when he went to be with his heavenly Father. Victor was born in London, England. In 1967 he moved with his wife and infant daughter to Seattle, Washington with Boeing Corp as an electro-mechanical engineer. A new career path within the restaurant industry led Victor and his growing family to Lancaster, PA, Minnetonka, MN and Louisville, KY before settling in Tega Cay, SC in 1991. Victor was a true gentleman personifying love and kindness as he cherished his wife and four children. Through his words and actions, he was a man of character embodying wisdom, patience, generosity, contentment and faith. Victor will be missed by many friends and family as he always had a wonderful smile when welcoming you.He is survived by his lovely wife of 52 years, Nuala Godwin Webber of Tega Cay, SC; his four children: Victoria Webber Potts (Don) of Tega Cay, SC, Claire Webber Allen (Brian) of Louisville, CO, Timothy Patrick Webber (Jen) of Wake Forest, NC, and Alexandra (Ali) Webber Newton (Brad) of Tega Cay, SC; and seven grandchildren.A service will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, March 22, 2018 at St. Philip Neri Church in Fort Mill, SC.
