Teresa McMurray Belk

Ms. Teresa McMurray Belk, age 50, passed away Wednesday, December 9, 2020, at her home.The time and date for her Celebration of Life will be announced on Facebook.Born in Lancaster, Teresa was a daughter of the late Marion Dean McMurray and Reanza Gregory Holcomb. She graduated from Currituck County High School in Barco, N.C. Teresa was formerly employed with her sister’s housekeeping company, “Maid in America” and was of the Baptist faith. Surviving are her sisters, Frances Allen (Mike) and Debra Wooten (John Lane) of Rock Hill; her stepfather, Tom Holcomb of Landrum; nephews and nieces, Robert Lewis and Erica Jennings of Rock Hill, Adam Samuel Jennings of Orlando, Fla.; and her great-niece, Mariah Grant of Fort Mill. She also will be missed by her pets: her peek-a-poo, Miss Kitty; her poodle, Daisy Lynn; and her cat, Tux; and her many friends.Memorials may be made to the Humane Society of York County, 8177 Regent Parkway - Suite 103, Fort Mill, SC 29715.Read Obituary
