Sherri Evans Wright

Mrs. Sherri Evans Wright, 60, of Fort Mill, died Wednesday, March 9, 2016, at her home surrounded by her loving family and friends.A memorial service will be at 7 p.m. Monday, March 14 2016, at Carolinas Cornerstone Church, with the Rev. Barry Yates officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.Born in Rock Hill, Sherri was a daughter of the late G. B. and Violet Evans. She was a 1973 graduate of Fort Mill High School. Sherri was a secretary and receptionist for Kraft Food, Crossmart, ACH Foods and Kraft Manufacturing in Charlotte. She was a caring mother and loving Grandma who enjoyed crafts, planting flowers, cooking and baking goodies. She will be dearly missed by her aunt, Imogene.Surviving are her husband of 39 years, Steve Wright; two daughters, Jamie Wells and her husband, Travis of Tega Cay and Kaley Mullis and her husband, Eric of Fort Mill; daughter-in-law, Maria Vargas; two brothers, Bobby and Donnie Evans, both of Fort Mill; five grandchildren, Bella Wright, Kaleb Wells, Landon Mullis, Ava Wells and Mason Mullis; and a very close nephew, Eddy Evans. She was preceded in death by her son, James Aaron Wright (2015); her brother, Gene Evans.The family wished to express their gratitude to Interim Care.
