Rosemary Branyon Grant, 75, of 8820 Edmonston Road, Berwyn Heights MD, died 14 Jan 2022 of an extended illness.Born in Rock Hill, SC, 18 May 1946, she was the daughter of the late John Bertrand and Allie Clamp Branyon. She was a graduate of Winthrop Training School ’64 and Winthrop College ’67, with a degree in Chemistry. She was a teacher, a chemist, an engineer, an entrepreneur, and served on the Greenville County Sewer Authority. Rosemary was a talented pianist, singer, and a superb cook. She had a keen intelligence and was possessed of great creativity; she could do anything she set her mind to – and would. She was an active member of Oakland Baptist, Taylors First Baptist, and later East Cooper Baptist. She was an expert on antique toys and dolls. She was a breast cancer survivor. She lived most of her life in South Carolina, spending the better part of the last two decades living the life she always wanted in Mount Pleasant. She traveled throughout America, the Caribbean, Mexico, and Europe. She absolutely loved the beach, especially Edisto Island and enjoyed many vacations there relaxing and shelling with her family.Survivors include her devoted husband of 54 years, Donnie Grant; son, Don Grant, Jr. (Leslie); daughter, Holly Grant Robinson (Joshua); beloved grandchildren, Lucy Grant, Will Grant, Ephraim Robinson, Wendell Robinson, Hannah Robinson, and John Robinson. She is also survived by brothers: John B. Branyon (Sandy) and Charles E. Branyon. Her sister, Barbara C.
