Robert Myles Komorous

Robert “Bob” Myles Komorous, age 66, passed away Tuesday, November 16, 2021, at his home surrounded by family.A Memorial Mass will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, November 26th, 2021, at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church at 292 Munn Road in Fort Mill.Born to Ms. Dorothy Komorous in Princeton, West Virginia, Bob would go on to attend the West Virginia University, where he majored in Biology and was known by his friends as “Kosmo”. After graduating, Bob would go on to serve honorably as a Captain in the United States Marine Corps, piloting helicopters. Later in life, Bob would work as a maintenance technician for more than 20 years. He was known for his love of the outdoors, a fondness for all animals, and his kindness and willingness to help others.He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Grace Komorous; his children, Patrick Komorous and Eric Komorous, both of Indian Land; and Kathryn Komorous of Charleston; his two dogs, Chuck and Lyla; and cat, Leo, whom Bob spent many days laying in a chair with.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Paws In The Panhandle Rescue and Adoption, P.O.
