Mrs. Rebecca Ramsey Dango, 48, died Thursday, December 7, 2017, at her home in Lincolnton, N.C.The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, December 10, 2017, at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Joel McMakin officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery.Born in Rome, Georgia, Rebecca was the daughter of Barbara Manning Ramsey and the late Joe Ramsey (2017). She received an associate degree from York Technical College and worked for American Express Health Systems Group in the University area of Charlotte for six years. Rebecca was a devoted homemaker who loved raising her children. She was a member of Denver United Methodist Church. Rebecca loved animals and supported the Humane Society of Charlotte.Surviving are her husband, Virgilio “Gil” Dango; two daughters, Amanda Casey Dango of Knoxville, Tenn. and Rachel Frances Dango of the home; her mother, Barbara Manning Ramsey of Indian Land, S.C.; her uncle, Ray Manning (Carol) of Sylvan Lake, Mich.; and her beloved dog, Rico.The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m., Saturday, December 9, 2017, at Wolfe Funeral Home.In lieu, memorials may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care of Lincoln County, 1420 East Seventh Street, Charlotte, NC 28204 or to the Humane Society of Charlotte, 2700 Toomey Avenue, Charlotte, NC 28203.Read Obituary

I was so sorry to hear about Rebecca. My deepest condolences to her family. May God grant you comfort and peace during this difficult time. (Isaiah 41:10; John 6:40). Gone but never forgotten, may your precious memories help ease the pain of your loss. Resting in peace, safe in God's memory. Rebecca was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
