Phyllis Wolfe

Phyllis Jackson Wolfe, 83, a lifelong resident of Fort Mill, passed away at her home on Friday April 15, 2022. Arrangements will be held privately.. Phyllis is survived by her son, CMSgt. Robert Wolfe Jr. and his wife, Kimberly Wolfe of Bonaire, Ga; her granddaughter, Jaime-Lyn Wolfe Butler of Atlanta, her grandson, Dylan Davis Wolfe of Bonaire Ga.; and four precious granddaughters, Piper, Presley, Portlyn, and Page Butler of Atlanta. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Wolfe, who passed away in 1984; her mother, Gladys Jackson; her aunt, Ruby Catoe; and three brothers, Hubert Wilson Jackson, H.O. Jackson, and Caroll Gene Jackson. The family is grateful for her nephew, Chad Jackson and his wife Jill of Fort Mill. The everlasting relationship with Mom always kept that smile on her face in her last years. She traveled the world as an Air Force wife and mother faithfully, living in Japan, Spain, and the United Kingdom. During her life as an Air Force spouse, she tirelessly guided Cub Scouts as a Den mother and Team Mom for Little League baseball. She received several awards for her work with both. She enjoyed gardening and crocheting throughout her years and was a caregiver to many. Selfless and always ready to give whatever was needed to others, she will always be remembered as one who like the Savior teaches, asks us to love one another. A precious soul whose first thought was always how to help others, her light will always shine in our hearts.
