Patsy Bumgarner Mills

Mrs. Patsy Ann Bumgarner Mills, age 87, passed away Sunday, April 18, 2021, at her daughter’s home. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 23, 2021 at Wolfe Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends after the service.Born in Lincolnton, N.C., Mrs. Mills was the daughter of the late William Franklin Bumgarner and Pinkie Louise Dellinger Bumgarner. She graduated from Central High School in Charlotte, N.C. and was the owner of Charlotte Mail Call. After retirement, Patsy and her husband, Tommy, moved to Myrtle Beach where they joined Socastee Baptist Church. She enjoyed crocheting.Mrs. Mills is survived by her daughter, Margaret Rock (Marshall) of Indian Land; her son, Charles Mills (Lynne) of Mint Hill, N.C.; and her daughter-in-law Beverly Mills of Indian Land; six grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Edward Mills (2013) and by her son, Rick Mills (2015).Memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care, P.O.
