Merle Broome Kissiah

Mrs. Merle Broome Kissiah, 86, of Fort Mill, died Friday, April 1, 2016, at her home.The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Monday, April 4, 2016 at Wolfe Funeral Home. The graveside service will follow at 2 p.m. at Unity Cemetery, with the Rev. Barry Yates officiating.Born in Fort Mill, Mrs. Kissiah was a daughter of the late David Glenn Broome and Sara Emily Perry Broome. She retired from Celanese after 35 years of employment and was a member of Flint Hill Baptist Church. She enjoyed working in the kitchen and clothes closet at her church.Surviving are three sons, Mike Kissiah (Martha) of Campbello, S.C. and Darrell and Robin Kissiah, both of Fort Mill; her brother, Roger E. Broom (Patricia) of Fort Mill; seven grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, C.B. Kissiah; sister, Peggy B. Bolin (Gene); brothers, James G. Broome (Marlene), Charles G. Broome and Bobby R.
