Mary Irene Henderson

Miss Mary Irene Henderson, 85, of Tega Cay, died Wednesday, January 13, 2016, at her home.Born in Greenville, S.C., Miss Henderson was a daughter of the late William Earl Henderson, Sr. and Irene Vaughn Henderson. She received her bachelor’s degree from Brenau University and had received her master’s degree in Psychology and Counseling. Miss Henderson lived in Pawleys Island for many years where she owned Litchfield Restaurant. After retiring, she was a drug and alcohol abuse counselor for Georgetown County.Surviving are her brother, William Earl Henderson, Jr. and his wife, Nancy of Greenville; nieces, Robin Aristides of Tega Cay, Laura Kennedy of Greenville and Mollie Henderson-Handley of Greenville; great-nephew, Andreas Aristides; and great-nieces Kathery and Will Kennedy.
