Louise Cowart Whitfield

Mrs. Louise Cowart Whitfield, age 89, formerly of Savannah, Georgia, passed away Sunday, August 22, 2021, at Westminster Health and Rehabilitation in Rock Hill.Born in Savannah, Georgia, Mrs. Whitfield was a daughter of the late Pearson Cowart and Marion Louise Sharply Cowart. She graduated from William & Mary University and was a commercial artist. Mrs. Whitfield was an accomplished artist and enjoyed drawing, painting, crabbing and UGA football games.She is survived by her daughter, Camilla “Cami” Whitfield Freeman and her husband P. John Freeman, and her granddaughter, Mary Louise Freeman of Fort Mill, S.C.; and her sister, Shirley Kelley of Savannah, GA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis F. Whitfield.Read Obituary
