Larry Crosby Ritchie

Mr. Larry Crosby Ritchie, age 82, passed away Monday, January 31, 2022, at Atrium Health Main in Charlotte, N.C. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until 11:50 a.m., on Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at Wolfe Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 12 p.m. in the Chapel of Wolfe Funeral Home, with Pastor Gene Flack officiating. Born in Rhodell, West Virginia, Larry was a son of the late Harlan Ritchie and Helen Vogt Ritchie. He proudly served in the U.S. Army and was a Dairy Department Manager with Food Lion. Larry enjoyed riding his motorcycles, tinkering with cars, playing cards, and traveling. He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Brenda McNinch Ritchie; his son, Larry Allen Ritchie (Autumn); his step-daughter, Lynn Kennington (Steve); three sisters, Linda Bailey (Bill) of Saint Lucie, Florida, Kayrn Brino (Al) of Brick Town, N.J., Connie Giles (Ronald) of York, S.C.; his brother-in-law, Bob Underwood, Van Cleave, Miss.; two grandchildren, Savanna Ritchie of Rock Hill, and Courtney Ritchie of Fort Mill; and many beloved nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Ruth Miller Ritchie (2001); and his sister, Debbie Underwood (2022). Memorials may be made to Wounded Warriors Project, P.O.
