Mrs. Katie R. Settlemyer, 70, of Fort Lawn, died Thursday, September 17, 2015, at Agape Acute Care in Rock Hill. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, September 26, 2015 at Wolfe Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 2 p.m., with Pastor Donnie Hicks officiating. Burial will be at Pineville City Cemetery. Born in Chesterfield, S.C., Katie was a daughter of the late Juanita Hancock. She was a homemaker. Surviving are her children, Sherri R. Green, Ted Nelson Robertson, Jr. and Michelle N. Roberts; her brother, Billy Ray Frye of Owings, Maryland; her sister, Mildred Towrey of Fort Lawn; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Sherri, Bubba, and Michelle, I'm so sorry to hear of your sweet mother's passing. Kay was such a special ' one of a kind' lady.
Janice and I were so shocked to learn, too late, to share in your grief and the service to celebrate Kay.

We met her through Rick Chavis. Katie was a beautiful person-inside and out.

So sorry in the passing of Katie. She now has no pain and rejoicing with those gone before her. If it wasn't for the Grace of God.....where would we be? My prayers are with the family.
