Mrs. Kathleen Boatwright Pressley, age 88, passed away Friday, April 17, 2020, at her home.Due to the Covid-19 virus the service will be private.Born in Indian Land, Kathleen was a daughter of the late Robert Lee Boatwright and Mary Agnes Hefner Boatwright. She was a homemaker and was a member of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church. Kathleen enjoyed quilting, growing flowers and gardening.Surviving are her daughter, Debbie Domozick (Joe) of Virginia Beach, VA; two sons, Pete Pressley (Frances) of Lancaster and Mike Pressley (Vivian) of Indian Land; her sister, Sally Mull of York; seven grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Assoc., P.O. Debbie, Pete, Mike and All the Family: we are so sad to hear about Aunt Kat. We were there just a few weeks ago, and she was thrilled that her legs no longer needed to be wrapped. She looked great and her spirit was lifted. Another couple and Vivian came in and we all just had such a wonderful visit. She was so happy and just "full of herself." She was looking forward to seeing you in May, Debbie. She was looking forward to "telling you what to do" with her flowers in the yard. We know she is happy in her "forever home" (Heaven), praising our Lord & Savior. She is whole again; no more suffering, no more pain. She is welcomed by Joe Lee, Hassie, Louise, Lib and Ron and other family members. Billy Graham has said, "Death is the Christian's coronation; the end of conflict and the beginning of glory in Heaven and triumph." Treasure each and every fond memory that you have of her, and we know you have many. Photos fade but memories are precious and last forever. May God wrap His loving arms around each member of your precious family and give the peace and comfort that only He can truly provide.

Kat or i also knew her as maw maw Pressley was just that she was another maw maw to me. Growing up with Otis and John it’s safe to say we spent a great deal of time at Ill and Kat’s house. She will for sure be missed. To all the family we have and will continue to keep you in our prayers. I know that Kat and Joe lee are having an interesting conversation right now and we all would love to be flys on the wall. Love all yall, go easy and walk with the lord, until we meet again, love you kat.
