Mrs. Joyce Elizabeth Hill Burch, 74, died Thursday, December 28, 2017, at her home.A graveside service will held be at 1 p.m. Saturday, December 30, 2017, at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery, with the Rev. Barry Yates officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the home of Shawn and Kathryn Burch in Indian Land.Born in Stanfield, N.C., Joyce was a daughter of the late Lane and Menith Jean Hartsell. She was a key punch operator with the Federal Reserve Bank in Charlotte. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting and facebook.Surviving are her husband, George Clyde Burch; her children, Shawn Burch (Kathryn) of Indian Land and Tracy Burch of Gaffney; two brothers, Lane Hill, Jr. of Jacksonville, Fla. and Ray Hill; three sisters, Melda Lewis of San Diego, Calif., Debbie Davis of Forsythe, Ga. and Ruth Hill; step-sister, Joyce Hill; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Jason Burch; and her brother, David Hill.Read Obituary
