Ms. Joy Marie Roberts

Ms. Joy Marie Pohlmann Roberts, age 71, passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2019, at Piedmont Medical Center.Born in Easton, Pennsylvania, Joy was a daughter of the late Jorgen Pohlmann, Jr. and Mary Ellen Woodruff Pohlmann. Joy was raised in the First Moravian Church and later attended Glenrock Baptist Church in Fort Mill. She worked as a waitress and was known to be one of the best. Joy was a very nurturing person and took care of her mother in her later years and also worked as a caregiver for other families.Surviving are her son, David Seifert and his wife, Joy of Summerville; her daughter, Melanie Yoder and her husband, Marlin of Mifflinburg, Penn.; her sister, Phyllis D. Snell of Goldsboro, N.C.; her grandchildren Rose Seifert-Cordeiro, Alesha Seifert, Jason Seifert, Sadie Seifert, and Gabe Yoder, two special nieces, Meredith Gehn and her husband, Sterling, and Megan Snell and her husband, Nicholas Goldberg; and her great nieces and nephews, Charlotte Gehn, Logan Snell, and Max, Cole, and twins, Paiton and Brooklyn Goldberg.Memorials may be made to First Moravian Church, 225 N. 10th Street, Easton, PA 18042Read Obituary
