Joanne Marie Wolfe

Joanne Marie Cuomo Wolfe, age 64, passed away Sunday, October 20, 2019, at the Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House in Rock Hill. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at Belair United Methodist Church, 8095 Shelley Mullis Road in Indian Land, S.C. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Mallory Nickerson officiating. There also will be a visitation on Saturday October 26, 2019 from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Roma Funeral Home, located at 539 William Floyd Parkway in Shirley, NY. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday October 28, 2019 at St. Jude’s Catholic Church, 89 Overlook Drive in Mastic Beach, NY at ___(TBA)__p.m. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery, 3442 NY-112 in Coram, NY.Born in Brooklyn, New York, Joanne was a daughter of the late Joseph James Cuomo and Florence Cori Cuomo. She moved to the Indian Land area 12 years ago and joined Belair United Methodist Church. She worked as a caregiver for several elderly folks in the community. Surviving are her former husband, Brian Wolfe, who cared for her during her final months; her brothers, Michael (Andrea) Cuomo of Calverton, N.Y. and Louis (Angelina) Cuomo of Ballantyne, N.C.; and nieces and nephews, Shannon, Heather, Justin, Dorian, Nicholas, Diane, Frank, Donald, Brandy, Jill, Holly and Christy.
