Jeanne Marshall White

Mrs. Jeanne Marshall White, 87, of Rock Hill, S.C. and formerly of Elizabeth, Penn., died Sunday, April 24, 2016.A graveside service will be held at a later time in Richwood, W.Va.Born in Charleston, W.Va. and raised in Richwood, W.Va., Mrs. White was a daughter of the late David Glover Marshall and Florence Irene Martin Marshall. She was a graduate of West Virginia University. Mrs. White was a Contalto soloist and a former member of Central Presbyterian Church in McKeesport, PA. She was active in the Queen Alilquippa Chapter of the D.A.R., the Symphony Society of McKeesport and the McKeesport Women’s Club. Mrs. White was a former member of the McKeesport College Club, the Colonial Dames and the Hugenot Society.Surviving are her children, Libby White Smith and Rusty White; daughter-in-law, Lisa Alexander-White, four grandchildren and three nieces. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill White; and son-in-law Bob Smith.Read Obituary
