Jeanette Hicks

Ms. Jeanette James Hicks, age 82, passed away Friday, January 17, 2020, at Piedmont Medical Center.The family will receive friends from Noon until 12:50 p.m., on Monday, January 20, 2020 at Westerly Hill Baptist Church. The funeral service will be at 1 p.m., with Rev. Randy Devinney officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Memorial Park on Cherry Road in Rock Hill.Born in Columbia, Jeanette was a daughter of the late John William James and Sally Mable Cameron James. She attended Lower Richland High School in Columbia and was formerly employed with Sunoco. Jeanette enjoyed watching the news, listening to gospel music and working crossword puzzles.Surviving are her children, Tommy Hicks (wife Cathy) of Clover, Connie Poag (husband Steven) of Rock Hill and Eddie Hicks (fiancé Glenda Garrison) of Rock Hill; and her fur babies, Pete and Ginger.Read Obituary
