Jarred Wayne Newell, age 37, passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at in Charlotte.The memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 10, 2020, at Lighthouse Pentecostal Church in Fort Mill, SC with the Rev. Carl Williams officiating. The committal service will follow at Grandview Memorial Park on Cherry Road in Rock Hill.A Fort Mill native, Jarred was the son of Mitchell Wayne Newell and Cindy Boatwright Keith. He was a residential plumber and cabinet builder. Jarred was known to be a “Jokester” and enjoyed working on cars and building things. He never met a stranger. Jarred had a huge heart and never forgot to say I Love You! He leaves lots of family and friends to cherish his memories.Surviving are his father, Mitchell Wayne Newell and stepmother, Lynn Ann Newell of Fort Mill; his mother, Cindy Boatwright of Myrtle Beach; his son, Caleb Newell of Charleston; his Papa, Donald E. Newell, Sr. of Indian Land; his maternal grandparents, Shirley Boatwright Gardner and Tom Gardner of Murrells Inlet; his special great-aunt, “Moma Gens”, Virginia Chapman of Fort Mill; two uncles, Donald E. Newell (Robin) of Indian Land and Kenneth Patton Newell (Terri) of Fort Mill; his brother, Adam Chase Keith (Morgan) of Bogart, GA; his sisters, Chasity Dodder (Andrew) of Myrtle Beach, Haley Keith (Bradley Pardue) of Lancaster; his son’s mother, Carmen Brown; his aunt, Denise Boatwright; nephews, Marshall, Aden, Hurley; nieces, Coralie and Sadie; father of step-brothers and sisters, James F. Cook, stepbrothers and sisters, Travis J. Cook, Shannon L. McCarthy, Marsha N. Cook, Aiden Graham McDonald; and step-nephew Jarred; and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Margaret Lucille Newell; his Papa, Charlie Boatwright; and grandfather, Charles W.
