James "Jim" Crofts

Mr. James “Jim” Croft, 74, died Thursday, March 31, 2016, at his home.The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, April 2, 2016, at Wolfe Funeral Home. The funeral will follow at 2 p.m., with Chaplain Carl Morton officiating. Burial will be private.Born in Madisonville, Tenn, Jim was a son of the late Gurthie Osborne Croft and Bessie Mae Raper Croft. He was the retired owner and operator of Crofts Body Shop and was a member of Solid Rock Baptist Church. He enjoyed driving his race cars at local dirt tracks.Surviving are his wife, Norma Gay Norton Croft; his children, Michael James Croft, Johnny O. Croft (Beth) and Kathy Michelle Culp (Tim), all of Fort Mill and James Douglas Croft (Teresa) of Concord, N.C., his sister, Joyce Martin of Stanton, Kentucky; five grandchildren, Kacie, Alan, Caitlin, Dylan and Brandon; and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Calvin Youngblood (2014).Read Obituary
