Jack Gene Liechti

Mr. Jack Gene Liechti, age 79, passed away Thursday, October 24, 2019 at his home. He was a former resident of Chenango Bridge, N.Y.The memorial service will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday, November 20, 2019, at Wolfe Funeral Home, with Pastor Hillary Cox officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.Born in Lyons, N.Y., Jack was the son of the late Frank Liechti and Nina LaMay Hughes Liechti, He served in the Navy during peacetime between the Korean and Vietnam wars. Mr. Liechti was a regional sales manager for S.I.P. - Societe Genevoise d'Instruments de Physique or more recently known as Societe Instruments Physiques SA of Geneva Switzerland. Jack retired from the company in 2004. He enjoyed woodworking and had an excellent sense of humor.Surviving are his wife of 59 years, Carol Anne Bernhardt Liechti; his son, Christopher William Liechti (Donna) of Indianapolis, IN; two daughters, Lauren Alyce Liechti of Tega Cay, and Diane Marie Liechti of Fort Mill; and two grandchildren, Christopher Austin Liechti and Patrick Gene Liechti.
