I am so sorry to miss Gwyn's memorial service. I definitely wanted to pay my last respects. He was the brother I always wanted. Thank you, Kay, for choosing him to be my brother-in-law. He always contributed so much to our family and will be sadly missed by all. We all loved him and treasure the memories he gave us of Family Thanksgivings,
Myrtle Beach, Hilton Head and our trip to New Orleans. Kay, I know you are proud of the family you two created. I am proud to be part of that family — as we were always proud to have Gwyn as part of our family.
He will be sadly missed but always remembered.
Your sister, Connie
First of all, let me say that I am so, so sorry for your loss. I always really liked Gwyn. He was such a fine man. It's hard to believe he was 82. I know what your're going through because I loss Dub almost 5 years ago. It's hard.
Kay, you may not remember me but I am Anne Richardson Sellers. Now, do you remember? You and Gwyn and Pat and Scott lived next door to my Mom and Dad and my mom and dad couldn't get enough of Pat and Scott. Remember my niece, Deanie? She grew up, too, and is married with 3 children. I would love to talk to you sometime to "catch up" on all the old memories. Please call me when you can. My number is 704-573-6895. Please give my condolences to Pat and Scott. Would love to see them.
Love to all of you,
Anne
My thoughts and prayers to your family. I had the honor and privilege to work with Gwyn at Laurel Eye Associates. He was a great optician and a great teacher. He had a servant's heart, always willing to take time with patients and serve their needs well. I was thankful to have him as a co-worker and mentor. GOD bless you all as you savor and cherish your wonderful memories. ....Glenda Beard Schock
I’m so sorry to hear of Gwyn’s passing. I have been practicing Optometry for 38 years in Charlotte and he has kept my equipment in working order all these years. It was always a pleasure to visit with him and he will be missed .
So sorry to learn of Gwyn's passing. I was the nurse at Dr. Yudell and loved Gwyn to death.....with sympathy and love,

Gwyn was known far and wide in the Fort Mill/Tega Cay area for cooking the most delicious ribs. Our mouths drooled for weeks before even eating them.
