Frieda Aumick Banks

Mrs. Frieda Aumick Banks, 97, of Rock Hill and formerly of Fort Mill, SC and Hamburg, NJ, died Monday, February 29, 2016, at Pruitt Health Care.The memorial service will be at 6 p.m. Friday, March 4, 2016 at Wolfe Funeral Home, 314 Spratt Street, Fort Mill, with Dr. Tom Patterson officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.Born in Hamburg, NJ, Mrs. Banks was a daughter of the late William and Frieda Hanger Aumick. As a young woman, she worked at a pocketbook factory and later as a custodian for the Hardyston National Bank. After moving to the south, Mrs. Banks worked for Ryan Homes caring for model homes. She was most noted for being a loving mother, grandmother and homemaker.Surviving are her daughter, Sandra Kay Pakozdy (Husband, Stephen) of Rock Hill, SC; her daughter-in-law, Mary Banks of Fort Mill, SC; son, Roger Lee Banks (Wife, Gail) of Seabrook Island, SC and Dale Arthur Banks (Wife, Susan) of Hamburg, NJ; nine grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford W. Banks; sons, Dennis Banks, Clifford M.
