There are no words that can express my love for my dear friend, Evelyn. We met in 1975, and I truly felt, this wonderful, caring, funny, special lady was the sister I never had. Victor, Evelyn, my husband, Jim, and I formed a strong friendship that lasted ever since we met. Our relationship was unique as Evelyn and I started taping to each other on our cassette players in 1980 when Jim and our family were transferred to Virginia. We vowed to never stop taping to each other so when emails were available to us , we did not stop our sharing of stories over the years except only by sending each other tapes at least every other month. We were transferred to Saudi Arabia in 1987 and for those three years, I would receive a tape from my dear friend. We laughed, we cried and we shared stories of our children, our grandchildren and would just talk to fill up an entire cassette! So no longer having Evelyn in my life, is so sad. She left us too early as did Victor. I pray they are now both together as their love for each other was so special in so many ways. So God Bless you my dear friend, I will miss you forever and treasure the wonderful memories we shared together forever. Our deepest sympathy to Kenny, Kelly, their daughters and Laura and her family. Love from Tina & Jim Taverna
