Deborah Marie “Debi” King, 61, died Tuesday, January 31, 2018, at her home.A gathering of family and friends will be from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Tuesday, February 6, 2018, at Wolfe Funeral Home.Born in Boston, Deborah was the first born child of the late Robert Louis King and Lorraine Chipman King. She was a 1974 graduate of South Boston High School and moved to the Indian Land, S.C. area in 2001. Debi loved dancing, listening to good music and shopping. She also enjoyed cooking and was known for her Italian dishes and comfort food in general.Surviving are her partner of 30 years, Chris Long of the home and his daughter, Jennifer Long of Boston; her siblings, Laura Bigham and her husband, John of Lancaster, Bob King and his longtime companion, Jim Thompson of Fort Mill, James King of Lancaster, Lorraine King of Quincy, Mass., David King and his longtime companion, Darlene Hutchison of Indian Land; and her beloved dogs, Roxie and Snapper.Memorials may be made to the Humane Society of York County, 8177 Regent Parkway, Fort Mill, SC 29715.Read Obituary
