Daniel "Dan" Chagnot

Mr. Daniel Joel “Dan” Chagnot, age 73, of Indian Land, S.C. passed away Saturday, August 24, 2019 at Atrium Health in Charlotte.Born in Hartford, CT, Daniel was the son of the late Rene Chagnot and Marguerite “Lea” Chagnot. He grew up attending Assumption Catholic Church, St. Bridget Catholic Church and St. Bartholomew Catholic Church, all in Manchester, CT. Dan received his Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of Hartford. He was retired from Northeast Utilities.Surviving are his wife of 24 years, Suzanne “Sue” Hein; their children, Matt Chagnot (Nichole) of Derry, NH, Steven Chagnot of Bridgeport, CT, Matt Heidenreiter (Lorna) of Keller, TX and Aimee Heidenreiter of Indian Land, SC; and their grandchildren, Payton, Chase, Nick and Will Heidenreiter.The family will receive friends from 5:30 until 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, August 27, 2019, at Wolfe Funeral Home, 314 Spratt St., Fort Mill, SC 29715.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Charlotte, 4530 Park Road - #240, Charlotte, NC 28209.Read Obituary
