Carolyn Whitley Poore

Carolyn Whitley Poore, 84 of Rock Hill, SC passed away Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at her home.She was born in Charlotte, NC to the late Allie Greene and Evelyn Epps Whitley. She was a member of Mount Holly United Methodist Church and was retired from Travelers Insurance Company.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Robert L. Whitley, Sr. Survivors include her husband, James T. Poore, Sr., her son, James T. Poore, Jr. (Rhonda) of Edgemoor, SC; her brothers, William J. Whitley (Jean) of Rock Hill, SC and Allie E. Whitley (Pat) of Fort Mill, SC; grandsons, Benjamin T. Poore (Camille) of Irmo, SC and Michael W. Poore (Kara) of Awendaw, SC; her great-granddaughter, Sutton Hazel Poore; and a number of nieces and nephews.Graveside services will be 3:00 PM on Friday, November 4, 2016 at Unity Cemetery, E. Hill Street, Fort Mill, SC 29732 with Rev. Michael Rouse officiating.In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Mt. Holly United Methodist Church, 1996 Mt.
