Augustine "Tina" Youngs

Augustine “Tina” Cathryn Borski Youngs of Tega Cay, SC died Wednesday, October 5, 2016, after more than three months in hospice care in her home. She was 90 years old.Born in Anderson, Texas, Tina Youngs was a daughter of the late Lee Borski and Letokada Elizabeth Fridye Borski. She met Marion E. "Buster" Youngs in Houston, Texas, in 1947, where he was stationed in the Navy and where she worked as a secretary for a major oil company. Married for almost 50 years until his death in 1995, they lived in a number of cities in the United States, including Houston, New Orleans, Atlanta and Charlotte, until eventually they found their dream golfing community in Tega Cay in 1978. Mrs. Youngs was a homemaker, a founding and active member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, an active member of the Tega Cay community, an avid golfer and a member of the Tega Cay Bridge Club and other bridge groups.Mrs. Youngs is survived by all four of her children: Janet Ashe of Bethlehem, Ga., Joyce Langley (married to Keith) of Charlotte, N.C., James E. Youngs of Charlotte, NC, and Michael A. Youngs of Charlotte, NC.; two sisters in Texas: Rosa Lee Wagner and Elizabeth Hudson (husband Bobby); seven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter.Mrs. Youngs' body will be cremated and interred next to her husband at a later date.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, P.O.
