Ms. Ann Reed Perretty, 68, of Fort Mill, died Wednesday, March 16, 2016, at the Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House in Rock Hill.A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 26, 2016, at the Chapel of Wolfe Funeral Home, with Pastor Todd Lesher officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.Born in Miami, Fla., Ms. Perretty was a daughter of the late Ely Reed and Fredna Lucille Knight Cockrell. She enjoyed attending Forest Hill Church.Surviving are her son, Joseph Nogues and his wife Tina of Mebane, N.C. her daughter, Joann Edginton and her significant other, Jeff of Bethlehem, Pa.; five grandchildren, Craig, Brian and his wife, Kayla, Brandon and his significant other, Beth, Jesse, and Wesley; her great grandson, Grayson; and a great granddaughter on the way; and her best friend, Marcia Morris of Fort Mill.Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Research Hospital, PO Box 1000 Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38101-9908.Read Obituary

To Ann's family,
Ann and I worked together for years and we became great friends. Her an I considered seriously about going into business together after we left Teksystems. She has always been dear to my heart, and a wonderful well respected women and business smart. She was always teach somebody something, she was a superstar to me.

I remember he talking about her family - her children and grandchildren and he face would always light up. I leaned a lot from Ann she challenged me to me a proper woman without saying a word. Always loving and caring.

Her and I lost contact over the last 3 years as I dropped out of contact due to a medical issue. Once I got back her and I exchanged emails as recent as January. Since I hadn't heard from her and come to find about her passing. This is quite a shock to me.

I just have to say that my friend Ann is certainly with the Angles, and if I know Ann she is teaching them a thing or two. May she rest in peace.

Dear children, grandchildren of Ann. There are never enough words to express my sympathy of the Loss of your mother and grandmother. She was a great woman and we shared many a laugh. While we only knew each other the last five or six years, she made me smile. Her boundless energy and her love of Dunkin donuts and cinnamon muffins gave me great pleasure to see who would win the battle of Starbucks or Dunkin on the many road trips we shared for work.I will miss her smile and will always remember the last time I saw her when she told me " you know I love you" never the demonstrative person she let me know she cared.
