Mrs. Angela Self Limbaugh, age 63, passed away Saturday, February 19, 2022, at her home. Visitation will be held at 4 p.m. until 4:50 p.m. on February 25th at the First Baptist Church Chapel, 121 Monroe White Street in Fort Mill. A Celebration of Life of Angela will follow at 5 p.m., with the Rev. Michael Cloer and the Rev. Andrew Limbaugh. Also, a second visitation will be held at 1 p.m. until 1:50 p.m. on Saturday, February 26th at Siloam Baptist Church, 229 Siloam Baptist Church in Easley. The memorial service will follow at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Michael Cloer and the Rev. Andrew Limbaugh. Born in Anderson, Angela was a daughter of the late Charles and Edith Welborn Self (2021). She received her bachelor’s degree from Erskine University in 1982. Angela and family were missionaries with the International Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention. They worked among the Zulu in South Africa, where they raised their children. After moving to Fort Mill, she thoroughly enjoyed teaching eighth-grade geography, social studies, and language arts at Fort Mill Middle School. Angela loved spending time with her family and enjoyed reading and writing. She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Andrew Limbaugh; her children, twins, Meredith Wilson of Columbia and Hannah Brown of Minot, North Dakota, David Limbaugh of Seattle, Washington, Marie Limbaugh of Fort Mill, and Rachel Parvin of Birmingham, Alabama; her brother, Wayne Self of Anderson; and three grandchildren, Nathan Brown, Noah Brown, and Owen Wilson. She was preceded in death by a brother, Steven Self (2021). Memorials in memory of Angela may be made to Foundation for Fort Mill Schools, P.O. Box 476, Fort Mill, SC 29716.
