Wilma Faye McGinnis

Ms. Wilma Faye McGinnis, age 76 of Fort Mill and also from California, died Tuesday, May 29, 2018, at her sister’s home.A private memorial service will be held at her daughter’s home in Fort Mill, S.C. at a soon to be announced date and time.Born in Atoka, OK. Wilma was the daughter of the late Orion McGinnis and Beulah Bertha Umsted McGinnis. She graduated from Maric College of Medical Careers. Wilma worked for the University of California – San Diego as a medical transcriptionist. She enjoyed spelling, typing, eating out, vacationing with family and playing cards, especially Nertz. She never stopped talking about her grandsons; they meant the world to her!Surviving are her daughters, Tracy Morgan (married to Shawn Morgan) and Helen Kermany, all of Fort Mill; her twin sister, Wanda Shafai of Fort Mill and sisters, Louise Androsczuk and Joann Taheri-Kermani, both of California; and two grandchildren, Jaiden and Rylan Morgan. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Pansy Ranzoni and Lois Osborne; her brother, John Reece; and her granddaughter, Tiffany Nicole Spurlock.Memorials may be made to Wolfe Funeral Home (for the funeral fund), 314 Spratt Street, Fort Mill, SC 29715.Read Obituary
