Mrs. Susan Carol Davis, age 60, died Sunday, December 25, 2016, at home.The memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, December 29, 2016, at Bethel Baptist Church, 6381 Lake Wylie Road in Lake Wylie, with the Rev. Steve Kirby officiating.Born in Charlotte, N.C., Susan was a daughter of the late Nathan Junior Davis and Bobbie Jean Green Davis. She was a certified nurse assistant. She loved caring for her grandchildren and enjoyed watching cowboy movies.Surviving are her husband of 38 years, William “Captain” Davis; her daughter, Katrina Marr (Troy) of Kings Mountain, N.C.; her son, Robert Godwin of Charlotte; her sister, Patsy Emory of Calabash, N.C.; two brothers, Robert Dale Davis of Raleigh, N.C. and Kenneth Wayne Davis of Rock Hill; and four grandchildren, Alexis, Brandyn, Emileigh and Carsyn. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Jacqueline Susanne Davis.Read Obituary
I love you Momma. You will forever be in my heart. I miss you more than I could ever say. I hope you've found Jackie, Grandma and Pawpaw in heaven and are having a great reunion. Until I see you again I'll be missing and loving you.
My sister in law, Susan, had a heart of gold. She lived for her family.
