Mr. Steven “Stevie” Edward Giles, Jr., 46, died Saturday, July 4, 2015, at CMC-Mercy in Charlotte.A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at Good Shepherd United Methodist Church on Moss Road in Charlotte. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Burial will be private.Stevie was a native of Fort Mill and received his Bachelor’s Degree from Winthrop University. He was a retired school teacher from Buford High School and also retired from the U.S. Army Reserve. Stevie was a member of St. Luke United Methodist Church and a former member of Zoar United Methodist Church. He was a very spiritual person and loved spending time with his family.
