Sheila Rasin Bhatia

Sheila Bhatia, 75, of Indian Land, passed away peacefully at her home on July 13, 2016. A native of India, Mrs. Bhatia was born on October 13, 1940.In India, she taught school. She and her husband and children moved to New Jersey in 1981, where she worked in a factory. She was a very loving person and was very helpful. She was strong willed and an excellent cook, mother, wife, and friend. She and her family were members of the first Methodist Church established in India. In 2007 she and Rasin moved to Indian Land and started attending Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church.Surviving are her husband, Rasin, her son, Ketan, daughter, Manisha, and her brother, Theodore and sister, Meena. Funeral services will be at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church on Saturday, July 16 at 11:00 a.m.. Visitation will precede the service in the sanctuary at 10 a.m.Read Obituary
