Wolfe Funeral Home
Dawn
One of my favorite memories of Pete was when my mom and I went to Charleston and stayed the weekend to decorate a bedroom. No one told us that Pete loved to eat in the middle of the night. We were so exhausted and couldn't get to bed fast enough (blow up mattress in den). But as soon as we fell asleep, we heard all kinds of noises coming from the kitchen.......rattling pots and pans, cabinets opening and closing and singing. Pete was up fixing beans and rice. After he ate, he went back to bed and snored so badly the walls shook. We never did sleep that night but we had a good laugh about the adventure. Although sad that Pete is no longer with us, we know that we will see him on the other side. He will probably greet us all with a huge smile, deep chuckle and a big plate of beans and rice!
