Mr. Pellegrino “Nino” Ladogana, 85, of Fort Mill and formerly of New York, died Saturday, November 29, 2014, at his home.A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Thursday, December 4, 2014 at Wolfe Funeral Home, with Father John Giuliani, C.O. officiating.Born in Bronx, New York, Mr. Ladogana was a son of the late Paul Ladogana and Teresa Corsa Ladogana He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Mr. Ladogana was a retired furniture designer. He loved his family and friends. Mr. Ladogana was a caring person and was affectionately known as “The Mayor” of his cul-de-sac.Surviving are his wife of 63 years, Evelyn Irene Herman Ladogana; his children, Laurie Ladogana of Fort Mill, S.C. and Paul Ladogana and his wife, Catherine of Fountain, Colo.; his sister, Carol Gallerello of Strasburg, Penn.; three grandchildren, Michele Coggins of Monroe, N.C. Joseph Ladogana of Charlotte, N.C. and Teresa Ladogana of Fountain, Colo.; and four great-grandchildren, Aiden, Daniel, Orianna and Bella.Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association, S.C. Chapter, 3223 Sunset Blvd., West Columbia, SC 29169.The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at Wolfe Funeral Home.
