Michael Patrick Toomey

Mr. Michael Patrick Toomey, 37, of Rock Hill and formerly of Tega Cay, died Wednesday, November 12, 2014, at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte.A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 15, 2014 at Wolfe Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Mill, with Father Joe Pierce officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.Born in Hackensack, N.J., Michael was a 1995 graduate of Fort Mill High School. He enjoyed music, movies, golf and all sports. He loved his family and his cats and dogs.Michael is survived by his parents, Vincent Toomey, Jr. and Corinne Dutil Toomey; twin sisters, Kelly Lewis and her husband, Steven and Shannon Healy and her husband, Sean, all of Rock Hill, SC; and his paternal grandparents, Vincent Toomey, Sr. and Dorothy Toomey, of Summerfield, FL. Also surviving are his nieces Mia, Kylie, Addison Lewis of Rock Hill, SC; aunt and uncle, Marie and Jack Abrams of Estero, FL; uncle, Joseph Dutil, Jr. of Fort Mill, S.C.; and friends Tom and Debbie Bailey of Pensacola, Fla.Memorial contributions may be made to Donate Life - Life Share of the Carolinas, 5000-D Airport Center Pkwy., Charlotte, NC 28208.Read Obituary
