Ms. Lynette Collins Green, 75, of Indian Land, passed away Sunday, July 5, 2015, at the Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House in Rock Hill. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at Indian Land Baptist Church and other times at the home of Debbie and Kurt Wedow. The funeral will follow at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Benny Green officiating. Born in Cobbtown, Georgia, Ms. Green was a daughter of the late Wilford and Johnnie Belle Boyette Collins. She was a retired packer from Lance, Inc. Surviving are son, Mike Green of Rock Hill; daughters, Debbie Wedow (Kurt) of Indian Land, Carolyn Phillips (Mike) of Mooresville, N.C. and Marilyn Capps (Sam) of Lake Wylie; brother, Gale Collins (Cathy) of Rock Hill; sisters, Imogene Furr of Clover, Janice Jackson of Peachland, N.C., Ann Ashley of Charlotte and Sharon Coakley of Duckhill, Miss.; 8 grandchildren, Timmy Porter, April Porter Garcia, Heather King, Bronson Green, Kyle Phillips Korey Wedow, Brandon Green and Kolby Wedow; and 8 great-grandchildren.
