Mrs. Lucy Barnes Baker, 71, of Fort Mill, died Wednesday, April 8, 2015, at the Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House in Rock Hill.The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m., Sunday, April 12, 2015 at Wolfe Funeral Home and other times at the home. The funeral will follow at 3 p.m., with the Rev. Gene Lathan officiating. Burial will be at Zoar United Methodist Church.Born in Cherokee, N.C., Mrs. Baker was a daughter of the late Lucius Franklin Barnes and Hassie Emma Buchanan. She was retired from Waffle House after 37 years. She owned and operated Poodles No Doubt for 26 years. She had a special love for the Poodle dogs and raised poodles for 21 years. She loved every puppy that was born at her home.Surviving are her husband, Jerry Smith Baker; her sister, Patsy Self of Lowell, N.C.; her children, Jerry Dwayne Baker of York, James Horton (Tina) of Charlotte, Allen Horton (Annie) of Charlotte, Lori Dease of Lake Wylie, Debbie Hunsucker (Dale) of Concord, N.C. grandchildren, Alex Horton of Jacksonville, Fla., Kristen Starnes of Monroe, N.C., Brett Hunsucker of Concord, N.C., Tyler Dease of Lake Wylie, Dustin Webb of Monroe, N.C., B.J.
