LaVeta Yarborough McCarver

Mrs. LaVeta Yarborough McCarver, 74, of Fort Mill, died Wednesday, August 31, 2016, at her home. Services will be held privately for the family. A native of Fort Mill, LaVeta was a daughter of the late Woodrow and Diamond Wise Yarborough. She was a 1960 graduate of Fort Mill High School. LaVeta was retired from Springs Industries in the Accounting Department and was a member of the Fort Mill Church of God. She loved spending time with her family and enjoyed reading. Surviving are her husband of 49 years, Randall McCarver; her children, Rhonda McCarver Strait and Randy McCarver and his wife, Suzanne Carter, all of Fort Mill; her brother, Richard Yarborough of McConnells; her sister, Carol Carpenter of Clover; four grandchildren, Treston Strait, Will Guthrie, Tex McCarver and Zoe McCarver; brother-in-law, Eric McCarver and his wife, Marilyn of Asheville, NC; sister-in-law, Gaye Kimbrell and her husband, Fred of York; and several nieces and nephews.Read Obituary
