Just learned of your passing Laurie. I am sad for your family and can only guess how difficult it will be not having you physically in their life anymore. I will keep them in my prayers as I know you would wish that. I will always remember those wonderful goofy times we shared, bowling, cupcake parties, fire girls softball...so much fun! I am sure you have everyone up there in heaven laughing already...that party has to be amazing. Down here on earth however it is raining, crying for our loss. You were a blessing to so many and I am so happy to have known you. Love you girl! LeeAnn Palubiak Rutledge

Bill, Kurt and Kim, I didn't realize Laurie has passed away until a week ago when I saw the Fort Mill Times. I'm in shock. I loved Laurie. She was truly someone I admired and will miss terribly. Whenever we'd see each other in the grocery store we'd block the aisle and catch up. I'd have to admit that Laurie was someone who I truly trusted for advice. Every time I saw Laurie we'd end up laughing about something. It's been a pleasure and an honor to have been her friend.
