Howard Ross Mahaffey Jr.

Mr. Howard Ross “Buster” Mahaffey, Jr., 69, died Friday, March 30, 2018, at CMC-Pineville.Born in Rock Hill, Buster was a son of the late Howard Ross Mahaffey, Sr. and Dorothy Lee Bayne Mahaffey. He attended Fort Mill High School. Buster was retired from Package Products Printing Co. in Charlotte with 25 years of perfect attendance over 30 years of service. He was a member of Indian Land Baptist Church. He was an avid NASCAR fan.Surviving are his siblings, Gloria M. Helms, Robert W. “Bobby” Mahaffey, and Sharlene Plyler, all of Rock Hill; and a constant companion, “Monkey”, his Chihuahua.Memorials may be made to Indian Land Baptist Church, 7583 Charlotte Highway, Indian Land, SC 29707; or to the York County Humane Society, 2036 Carolina Place Drive, Fort Mill, SC 29708.Read Obituary
