Mr. Edward Anthony Doran, 89, of Fort Mill, died Friday, March 6, 2015, at Harbor Chase Assisted Living in Rock Hill.A memorial service will be held at a later date in Bridgewater, N.J.Born in Canal Zone, Panama City, Panama, Mr. Doran was a son of the late Edward James Doran and Jacinta del Carmen DeLeon-Vasquez. He was married to Jeanne Driscoll in 1946 in Panama. He was a devoted and loving husband and cared for his sick wife until she passed in 2010. He served in the U.S. Navy and graduated from New York University with a business degree in Accounting. Mr. Doran was a retired senior internal auditor with N.Y. Life Insurance Company and was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed traveling, and keeping up with his friends from high school and the Navy.Surviving are his children, Catherine Ann Hennessey (William) of Flemington, N.J., Edward James Doran (Gloria) of Fort Mill and Michael John Doran (Lyndel) of Dallas, Texas; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.Read Obituary
