Mr. Edward Alan Bell, 60, died Monday, December 26, 2016, at his home. The services were held privately for the family.Born in Charlotte, N.C., Alan graduated from Independence High School in Charlotte, N.C. and Piedmont Aerospace in Winston-Salem, N.C.. He was employed by Teal Aviation in Charlotte. He was an avid outdoorsman, especially enjoyed hunting, hiking and cycling. His greatest love was spending time with his family.Surviving are his wife, Judy Anne Buff; his parents, William Earl Bell and Louise Ann Woodard Bell of Rock Hill; his brother, Bob Bell of Charlotte; and his sister, Beth Johnston of Moneta, Virginia.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the EABell Scholarhip Fund.
