David Allen Smith

Mr. David Allen Smith, 55, died Friday, October 7, 2016, at his home.A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Joel McMakin officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.David lived in Indian Land and was a true family man. He loved the time he had with his grandchildren. David was an engine builder with EPS for 16 years. He then opened Smith Lawn Care in Indian Land, which is still in operation. He enjoyed NASCAR and was an all-around sports fan.Surviving are his wife of 37 years, Rhonda Moore Smith; his son, David Wade Smith and his fiancé, Ashley Coltharp of Indian Land; his parents, David & Edith Smith of Indian Land; and two grandchildren, Devin Allen Smith and Aiden William Smith. He was preceded in death by his sister, Donna Ann Smith (1993).Read Obituary
