Mr. Clyde “Junior” Steen, Jr., of Indian Land, died Sunday, January 3, 2016, at Springs Memorial Hospital.The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m., Thursday, January 7, 2016 at Wolfe Funeral Home. The memorial service will follow at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Wolfe Funeral Home in Fort Mill, with the Rev. Jack Walker officiating.Born in Rock Hill, Clyde was a son of the late Clyde Steen, Sr. and Lauvenia Wallace Steen. He was a welder. Clyde enjoyed fishing, NASCAR, and watching football, especially Clemson and Carolina Panthers.Surviving are his wife, Faith Moss Steen; his children, Jeffrey Clyde Steen of Arlington, VA and Krystal Lynn Burriss of Alexandria, VA his sister, Rita Kay Walker of Rock Hill; and his granddaughter, Hannah Brooke Burriss. He was preceded in death by his son, Steven Ray Steen.Read Obituary

I am so sorry to hear of Junior's passing. I remember Junior, Kitten, Red and Clyde fondly. Red (that's the only way I know her) and my mom, Frances Taylor worked at Springs together. Kitten and I use to play together and Junior always picked on us! May he rest in peace and be forever remembered. Love to his family, Rita Kay (Kitten) and his friends. Go Tigers!
