Charles Anthony Pollut

Mr. Charles Anthony Pollut, 68, of Fort Mill, died Friday, July 29, 2016, at his home.The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at Wolfe Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 5:30 p.m., with Father John Giuliani, C.O. officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.Born in Palisades Park, New Jersey, Charles was a son of the late Frank Charles Pollut and Mary Ann Iacobacci Pollut. He graduated from Pratt University. Charles was honorably discharged in 1981 as a Captain from the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. After his retirement, he was manager of various restaurants. Charles was a member of the VFW Post 9488 in Charlotte and was the former commander of the VFW Post 277 in Ridgefield Park, N.J.Surviving are his children, Michael Charles Pollut (Bobbie Jo) of Meridianville, AL, Kristine Webster (Rodger Blake-Ward) of Tega Cay, S.C. and Adrian Pollut (Katie) of Eugene, Oregon; and four grandchildren, Sean, Aidan, Evan, Kate.Read Obituary
